  Joseph Moneta Obituary Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 8, 2009. MONETA, Joseph Kennedy On April 6, 2009, Joseph Kennedy Moneta of Edmonton, formerly of Elk Point, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife of 60 years, Helen; and his family. Joseph is also survived by his children, two sons and three daughters, Miranda (Bill), Wes, Richard (Pauline), Cheryl (Steffan), and Aurelia (David); seven grandchildren, Carly and Kyle (and their mother, Shari), Shauna, Tricia (Tim), Jasmine, Audrey, and Aaron; his great-granddaughter, Daphynie; one brother, Walter (Francis); and two sisters-in-law, Minnie and Leona. Predeceased by his parents, Valenty and Maria; brothers, Peter, Frank and Paul; and his sister, Anna. Prayers Wednesday, April 8 at 8:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 - 111 Avenue. Divine Liturgy Thursday, April 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church, 15608 - 104 Avenue. Reverend Bill Hupalo officiating with interment in Rosehill Cemetery, 13951 Ellerslie Road.
