Obituary
LUKEY-Mr. Carl Lukey, of Yorkton passed away on November 14, 2007 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. He was 88 years of age. Carl was a long-time time resident of Norquay, Saskatchewan, he farmed with his brother Walter for over 45 years, retiring to Yorkton in 1996. Predeceased by his parents; brothers: William and his wife Ann, Nick (Brother Ambrose), Mike, Patrick, and by sisters: Anita (Sister Modesta), and Gen and her husband Ed Berezowski; he was also predeceased by a brother-in-law Myroslaw Hataley. He leaves to cherish his memory and to mourn his passing, brothers: Walter Lukey, Robert Lukey and his wife Gert; a sister, Julia Hataley; and sisters-in-law Nora Lukey and Ollie (Hataley) Mackesey; several nieces, nephews, and his many other relatives and friends. Prayers will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at 7:00pm from St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Yorkton. The Requiem Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00am, from St. Mary's Church. Interment to follow in the Yorkton Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Building Fund as gifts of remembrance. Arrangements are entrusted to Bailey's Funeral Home, Yorkton.
