  Obituary FILIPOWICH, Edward William P.Eng. April 27 1936 - February 14 2016 Died peacefully on February 14, 2016 surrounded by his family. Loving husband to Shirley for 56 wonderful years. Cherished father to Corinne Fernihough, Charlene (Robert) Kawazoye and Christine (Donna) Filipowich. Treasured Gedo to Jennifer (Rick), James (Nicole) and Brendan. Brother to Mary Anne, Theresa, Walter, Helen, the late Sylvia, the late Bruce and Sonia. Especially missed by cousin Leone and niece Sue. Ed will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Graduated from the U of S and had a 30 year career with Mohawk College. Avid golfer, woodworker, handyman,volunteer, member of the Knights of Columbus and a good friend to all. Cremation to follow. Special thanks to the exceptional staff at Juravinski Hospital 3C especially Dr. Miller, Kelly, Jessica and Leah and to all the wonderful neighbours at Garth Trails. Memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd or Juravinski Hospital.
