  BASARAGA I should mention regarding the surname spelling that in the Registers, they always wrote “Басарага” (Basaraga in the original), and only in two entries there were “Басараба” (Basaraba in the original). I will write “Basaraga”. I have managed to determine that the first of the kin was MYKHAYLO BASARAGA (Michael Basaraga). Date of his birth is unknown. He married Anastasia Senkiv (Anastasia Senkow). They lived in the building No 62, and had at least 2 children: BASARAGA TETIANA (Basaraga Tatianna) was born in about 1847 BASARAGA JOSYPH (Basaraga Josephus) date of birth is unknown.
