    • TATARYN _ Augustine (Gus) Augustine (Gus) passed away at home in Calgary on Saturday, November 5, 2005 at the age of 65 years. Leaving to mourn his death are his two children, Wanda Tataryn (Richard Buors) and Robert Tataryn. He will be sorely missed by his two grandchildren, Byron and Faith (all from the Calgary area). Also left to grieve are his sisters, Emily Solowey of St. Catharines, ON and Vikki (Walter) Lozinsky of Pelly, SK; and his brothers, Eugene (Joan) Tataryn of Saskatoon, SK and Ernie (Connie) Tataryn of Swan Plain, SK; and numerous nieces and nephews. Gus was predeceased by his parents, Fred (2000) and Lily (1988) Tataryn, and infant brother Stephen (1953), and brother-in-law Michael Solowey (1998). Gus was born and raised on the family farm near Swan Plain, SK. After graduating from high school in Kamsack, SK, he left to seek his fortune in Ontario. He married Judith Demchuk in 1963 and they settled in the Toronto area. He found his trade in the printing industry at this time, starting up Tataryn Printing and running the company until 1977 when the family moved to Calgary, Alberta. Since his arrival in Alberta, Gus worked for various printing companies in Calgary, most noteworthy with Emerson Clarke Printing until his retirement in January 2005. Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation and Prayer Services at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Prayers to begin at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayer Services at LESON'S FUNERAL HOME, Canora, SK (Telephone 1-306-563-5671) on Friday, November 11, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at Holy Ascension Ukrainian Catholic Church in Swan Plain, SK, on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. with the Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
