  Michael Filipowich January 22, 1947 — September 17, 2014 Michael Filipowich, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. At the age of 67, on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, Michael Filipowich of Key Largo, FL, formerly of Chelmsford, Mass., died unexpectedly. Michael was born in Toronto, Canada on January 22, 1947, the son of the late Thomas and Helen (Cooper) Filipowich. Michael was a union masonry contractor of Filipowich Masonry Ltd and Stone Walls by Michael, and a gourmet chef. The beloved husband of Eve Filipowich, to whom he was married to for 27 years, leaves behind three beautiful children. His sons: James Filipowich and Michael Filipowich Jr. and his wife Shelly; Daughter: Kim Conte; and granddaughter Riley Filipowich. He is survived by his sisters: Margaret Granell, Elizabeth Michaud, and Linda Mryka; and his brother: Thomas Filipowich of Toronto, Canada; as well as 3 nieces and 14 nephews. Services will be private. Any memorial contributions can be made to the Heart Association.
